>As for my walking goal: I think I got a little carried away! There just weren’t enough hours in the day or energy in my body this week for a 4 mile walk every weekday (my plan for acheiving the 20 miles a week). I think I’m going to take your lead sassyshell: my new goal is to get AT LEAST 30 minutes of exercise 4 days a week.
As for Dylan’s sleep: I decided that maybe part of Dylan’s problem with sleep is that I stopped swaddling him (because he can flip himself over) and that maybe I should start swaddling him again to get him to sleep in his crib. ta da! He’s sleeping in his crib for his naps for at least an hour AND I know for a fact he’s woken up at least one time and put himself back to sleep, so I’m feeling much better about everything. An hour long nap is fine with me and last night Andy and I got 2 whole hours alone when I put Dylan down at 6 in our bed (I fell asleep with him for an hour) and then moved him to his crib at 7 and didn’t have to worry about him again until I fed him at 9 and then put him in our bed with us for the night. He slept 12 hours total (not without waking up to eat every 3 hours, but I can live with that for now) and woke up a very happy baby!
So that’s my update! 🙂 TGIF! Time to spend my first Mother’s Day weekend with my family!
