I was given an award by Rachel from Cool Bean Mommas.
::blushes:: I’ve never been given an award before and I’m not entirely sure I deserve one, but I’m excited just the same!
Isn’t it pretty?! 🙂
From what I understand I am now supposed to share seven things about myself…
- I have been a Christian since first grade.
- I was painfully shy in elementary school but I apparently came off as stuck-up (I think or hope I outgrew that!).
- I used to want to be famous (what child doesn’t?) but around the age of 25 realized how much I *do not* want fame (I’m self-conscious enough as it is).
- I’ve been a procrastinator since at least third grade (as in full-out, month long research assignments started and completed the night before they were due) and still haven’t learned my lesson (probably because I always received good grades anyway).
- I’ve always wanted a big family of at least four kids (I’m starting to have second thoughts on that one).
- I almost studied abroad in Australia, but it fell through about a month before I was supposed to leave. 🙁 Hopefully I’ll make it there someday.
- I am not quite thirty yet.
I am technically supposed to pass this on to ten more blogs, but I am only going to pass it on to the ones I stalk on a regular basis:
- A Day Without Sushi
- Dagmar*s momsense
- Hormonal Imbalances
- I Thought I Knew Mama
- Live and Love…Out Loud
- Not Mommy of the Year
Ladies, I love your blogs! You remind me on a daily basis how loving and supportive the mamma blogging community is.
Congratulations on your award! I’m so happy for you. I used to be uncomfortable with receiving recognition but it really is such a great feeling to be picked by your peers as a favorite. I enjoy both your blog and Cool Bean Mommas! I am excited to check your blog list.
Cynthia
Thanks Cynthia!
Wow, thank you, Erika, for including me in this honor! Now I have to find the time to pass it on… 🙂
I’m so happy to hear that you are stalking Dagmar’s momsense.
Best,
Dagmar

You’re welcome! I’m glad I found you!
Thank you so much for the blog award. You are too sweet! 🙂 And can I just say that I love that you’re a procrastinator? It’s always nice to know a fellow lazy person. Kidding. Thanks again. 🙂

Lol! I agree! 🙂 You’re welcome… Your blog always puts a smile on my face!
Yay! Thank you. I never knew about the Australia thing – bummer that it didn’t work out. :/

Welcome! I know… I was disappointed at the time, but I would have missed out on my senior year, so maybe it was a blessing in disguise (or maybe not, but we won’t go there!).
I can so relate to #4. I guess I work best under pressure or I just like the rush of beating a deadline. Great post! and you SO deserve it….

You are so welcome. I’m so glad I found your blog through CarNatPar!
I think we are too!
I already said thank you via Twitter, but again, thank you. There is something special about being recognized by someone you also admire. You are awesome and I am so glad that I found Diana’s blog which I think is what led me to yours? Anyways, you both are the bees knees.
Also, maybe we need to start a procrastinating mamas club. 🙂

I think maybe we should too 🙂
Darlin’ you are so sweet. Thank you. I’m flattered.
Also? That procrastination thing. Totally me. I call it “working best under pressure.” 🙂
You are very welcome. You deserve recognition for not only your blog but how much you do in general.
I like that and I’ll have to remember that next time my husband complains about how I don’t start packing for a trip until 10:00pm the night before we leave. 🙂
