Baby #2 Pregnancy Tracking: 30 wks

STRESS!

You know how pregnant woman are advised to keep their stress levels down?  That’s not the way we do things around here.  Moving in my third trimester with a toddler in the mix doesn’t really allow for that.

Don’t worry, though.  I’m dealing with it in the healthiest way possible.  I’m burying myself in my computer with work on my new graphic & blog design site and staying up way too late. 😉

No, but really.  I’m actually great.  I’m excited and happy and feeling extremely blessed.  It’s just been hectic around here, so I may not be able to post much in the next couple of weeks.

I did, however, manage to take a couple of photos to keep up with the tracking.  So here they are:

You may have noticed I took these in a different spot.  I decided that the lighting over the fireplace wasn’t working out.  Plus, it doesn’t really matter if I take them all in the same place anymore since we won’t be living here in two weeks (if all goes to plan).  I’ll write more about that later, though!

I know this is a hectic time for everyone.  What’s going on in your life?

We’ve got stress over here too but it’s more due to some in-laws causing drama and not taking my pregnancy into consideration. Moving though? Ugh. STRESS-FUL!! I moved while 7 months pregnant with Cedella. Try to take it easy and remember not to lift anything. It’s a wonderful time to pull the ‘can’t-do-that-cause-I’m-pregnant’ card. You look great! Good luck with the house!

      Aww! I’m sorry! That’s frustrating!

It’s been a stressful week because three days before we were supposed to close (today was the original closing date) the seller said they wouldn’t be out in time and refused to close before 1/31. It’s a little frustrating considering everything they’ve refused to do for us has been due to “accommodating the quick move-out date” and then *suddenly* they can’t accommodate that either. You’d never know it was a buyers market by this experience! 🙂 I think I’d care a lot less if I weren’t like 8 months pregnant, but I am.

Yikes! I can’t imagine moving at that stage of pregnancy. My cousin did it at 39 weeks (or so) – crazy! Blessings and peace to you, friend!

What’s going on here? Also a little crazy, but also good crazy. We are getting ready for our big webinar launch. “What’s in YOUR Personal Care? A Label Reading Workshop” is designed to help mamas (and others) cut through all the ‘natural’ marketing hype out there and spot the toxins in personal care products (yes, even the ‘natural’ ones).

Would you or your readers be interested? I can share the post I did about it with more details, and/or the registration link, if you want. : )

    Cheers!

Thanks Jess! They’re not my favorite photos, but it’s always awkward to pose for these I guess. Thank you for letting me play with your site!

You’re site is all up and running, I think! Custom domain and all. I’m sending you an email now.

It is. We’ve had our share of moving stress over the past few years and I’m so ready to move somewhere more permanent! Thank you! 🙂 I feel more clumsy than adorable right now, but that’s probably normal.

About me

Hello and welcome.  It’s been a while.  For Lent this year I decided to fast from the thing that took too much of my attention from what is truly important: Social Media.  Though there are countless amazing benefits to Social Media, after about a month offline so far, there are seemingly just as many negatives.  I never realized how much of my brain had been hijacked by it.  I’ve had so many revelations about how much easier it is to move forward when I’m not constantly reminded of the past.  But I still want to record my family as they grow at this ridiculous speed and, I’m realizing, so many of our family’s memories are here.  Those along with so many of the struggles and stages we’ve worked through.  Maybe in the midst of COVID19 isolation and my kids around me so often, I’m brought back to a time when they were too young for school and with me so often.  Writing here during that time helped make up for the limited adult conversation in my days and the overwhelm provided by my… little treasures 😉 My husband, fur babies, three fiesty kids, and I hereby extend an invitation to visit this little sneak peak into our life. We’re super flawed and broken and there aren’t too many dull moments around here.  And I promise it’s not always as magical as some of my golden hour, sun-soaked images would suggest.  There’s usually too much coffee in my system and we welcome all the prayers.  Come on over if you want to process with me.
