I can’t imagine our life without him. In such a short period of time he’s snuggled his way into our life so (almost) inconspicuously, it’s like he was always there.
I mean, don’t get me wrong, it hasn’t been the easiest two months of my life. Every day’s brought new challenges.
In the very beginning, despite having tons of help, I didn’t know how I was going to do it. Multiple cases of mastitis was the main culprit, however, and now that my breastfeeding issues seem to have worked themselves out (knock on wood and a prayer), I’m feeling much more confident.
Hey, I’m even thinking about more kids already (don’t tell Hubby ;)). I mean who can resist baby smiles?
Or any baby expression for that matter?
It’s just crazy to me that this little guy came into our life such a short time ago and, already, I can barely picture our life before him. What a miracle. It’s just such a blessing from God to have him and I am so amazed and grateful.
So, without further adieu, here are his two month stats (don’t be alarmed, they are more like the stats of a four month old, but remember he was nearly 10 lbs at birth):
- Height: 25.5″
- Weight: 14lbs 10oz
- Head Circumference: Big… I forget and I can’t find the sheet. Sorry!
No vaccinations yet because (yay!) our doctor recommends a modified vaccination schedule. Here‘s his PowerPoint on vaccinations, in case you’re interested.

That’s nice to see that he has good growth. May the lord bless your child.
