See that face? That’s how I felt this week. I’m so thankful it’s Friday night!
Usually, Andy works from home, but the first half of the week he was out of town. It was a great opportunity for me to see how much I can’t and don’t want to do this one my own.
I should rephrase that. It was actually very empowering because I can do it, it’s just not pretty.
Short recap: I had a stress headache that lasted three days straight. I had a knot it my shoulder that, uh… yup, it’s still there. You know, the kind that pops when I try to pull my shoulders down and back (aka proper posture)? That of course means I sat or stood straight for 5 minute stretches before I got lazy and start slouching again. I had little patience for Dylan and I had to let Wyatt cry a few times to keep my sanity.
On a positive note, my momma-in-law came to visit one day and my friend Monica another, which were both such nice breaks from the chaos. Well, for me anyway. I’m sure they were still overwhelmed by the crazy energy and clutter.
We also, of course, ended the week with a sick toddler. At least it slowed him down a little 🙂
In any case, this week reminded me how very grateful I am for my husband, family, and friends. I don’t know what I’d do without you all! <3
