What is #aHeartFitFriday?
It’s my attempt to get my heart more focused on fitness along with all the other changes I’m making in my life. When everything makes your life different and you don’t know where to go from there, it’s time for a change. I want to follow Extreme Makeover’s lead and give my life a makeover.
The importance of physical fitness expands beyond looks. Or at least the purpose does. I want to focus more on fitness because I want to FEEL better.
I don’t have much to share this week except that I declared this week, between Christmas and New Years, a “treat free” week. It’s amazing what a difference it’s making for all of our mindsets. Although restrictive in appearance, it’s actually pretty freeing to live each day without something that doesn’t improve much of anything. Sweets are an immediate pleaser, but the long term effects on our moods and bodies make it something worth avoiding. At least that’s how I feel a few days in. Talk to me at the end of this weekend…
