It seems the kids are growing faster than I can keep up.
In the last few months Wyatt turned 4, which we celebrated over Easter weekend with family back east:
Naomi met her GG and Great Aunt and Uncle for the first time:
She started really walking when we got back from that trip right around the 17 month mark and she had two awesome cheerleaders:
We celebrated 18 months with her in our lives:
The boys finished up Preschool and Kindergarten! I can’t believe they’ll be in Pre-K and 1st grade next year!
I love how both of their shirts are so nice and freshly pressed on the first day and a mess on the last day. That pretty much sums it up. We were so ready for a break.
Also, in case you didn’t notice and thought I just don’t buy D clothes that fit, that’s the same shirt on his first and last day. I wanted the comparison. I love how he was practically swimming in it on the first day (that picture doesn’t do the bagginess of the shirt justice, but you’ll have to take my word for it) and it really doesn’t fit anymore on last day. I may have been in denial that day, but he had his batman shirt on underneath and wore that most of the day.
I’ve decided they have to stop getting bigger now. That’s enough growing for one year!
I think that about catches us up. I’d love to start writing more, but we all know I say that and then I don’t, so we’ll just leave it there. If we’re lucky I’ll post some of our summer adventures, and make a plan for posting some photography tutorials so I can learn more and help others while I’m at it.
I do know if I don’t follow through, it’s OK because one of these days, my kids won’t be so small. I’m pretty confident I’ll never regret accomplishing less, while I spend these years soaking in all the adventures and exploration as they learn more and more about this crazy, beautiful world.
